3D Modelling (Progress)
I have been assigned to work on 3D modelling using 3D Studio Max in the early stages of our group project. Due to a delay in the planned site visit, our modelling has needed to be based on secondary research using found photographs. I have modelled the shale bucket - which moves along the aerial ropeway in the air carrying shale from the mine. The dimensions of the shale bucket are unclear so I have had to attempt to model it at an approximate scale. Modelling proved to be difficult as the sketch plan of the shale bucket (pictured below) has some differences to the photographs we sourced.
